Fast Lane Art 2020
Berks Arts Council is excited to announce Fast Lane Art will be partnering with the BCIU Secondary Art Show to be held at the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts from February 22 – March 8, 2020. Art works will be selected by juror, Deb Schlouch for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. The Berks Arts Council’s Fast Lane Art Committee will select various pieces for the Committee Choice Awards. Event sponsors will also select their favorite piece. Joining the BCIU Secondary Art Show provides students from all of the schools in all mediums to participate in Fast Lane Art. In 2019, 854 students showcased 1,570 pieces of artwork at the BCIU Show.
Selected pieces will be showcased as “Public Art” on street banners throughout the City of Reading and West Reading. In addition, an art walk will be created in downtown Reading utilizing the artwork from Fast Lane.
